Kenyon, Karl -- Ely, Nevada based gunsmith best known for designing the trigger mechanism used on the 22 LR Winchester Model 52 target rifle. -- August 24, 2016


Keyhole -- Abnormally shaped hole in a target struck by an unstable bullet. Keyholes in a target can vary from holes that are slightly oblong, indicating mild instability, to holes that are a perfect imprint of a bullet, indicating a projectile that hit the target sideways. -- Jan. 30, 2013


Knuckle -- As applied to breechloading, double-barrelled rifles and shotguns, the rounded, forward-most portion of the receiver/action body. The knuckle normally contains the hinge pin the barrels and forend iron rotate on along with the parts necessary to cock the firearm. -- Aug. 19, 2013
