Organ Gun -- Early form of muzzleloading artillery (ca. 14th century A.D.) that consisted of multiple gun barrels arrayed in a horizontal fashion on a wheeled carriage. Some of the earliest organ guns were produced in China, a photo of which can be found in The Machine Gun, vol. I, Part I, pg. 13 by George M. Chinn, Lieutenant Colonel, USMCR. -- December 21, 2016

Over/Under -- A firearm that has 2 barrels arranged in a vertical fashion, one directly on top of the other. Although shotguns are the most common type of over/under firearm encountered today, double rifles have and still are being manufactured as over/unders. Some handguns, such as the Remington Deringer, were also over/under designs. -- June 10, 2014
